Lead Environment Artist – PC/Online Action RPG Game – France – Permanent

Based in Nice, France, Our cleint is looking for a new Senior Environment Artist to join their team to support growth.

Responsibilities:

• Staging and composing environments regarding level design constraints while respecting a strong artistic direction.
• Acting as a technical referent for questions related to the creation of environments.
• Supporting artists on good practices related to the development of game environments.
• Working close to the Narration team to bring storytelling into the game.
• Participating in the modeling and texturing of 3d assets .

The Senior Environment Artist reports to the Lead Environment Artist.

Profile:

• Extensive experience creating environments for games
• A good eye for composition ; color and lighting
• Mastery of 3DS max, Zbrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate with the team
• Good knowledge of Substance Designer is a plus.
• Experience with the Quixel Mixer is a plus
• Experience with the CryEngine is a plus
• Perfect English and French
