Senior Environment Artist – Hybrid/Remote

Our client have a track record of working on some of the world’s biggest and best games and received two BAFTAs for their work. As the scale and exclusivity of projects continues to grow, there’s never been a more exciting time to join them!

They are looking for a Senior Environment Artist, capable of being the bridge between the Art and Programming teams. You will be well versed in various areas of the game development process from creating and maintaining pipeline tools to directing and supporting optimisations.


  • Extensive production experience, working within the games industry,
  • Proven track record in at least 2 shipped titles (preferably AAA),
  • Excellent 3D art skills,
  • Excellent compositional skills and all-around artistic expertise and flare,
  • Expertise in 3ds Max, Zbrush, Substance Painter / Designer, Photoshop & other technologies utilized in the production of game art
  • Expertise in Unreal Engine 4,
  • Familiarity working and developing in a multi-platform, multi-project environment,
  • Strong technical background with the ability to grasp new programs and systems quickly,
  • Have a desire to maintain and keep up with trends/ workflows in the game art space outside of core hours,
  • Strong communication and organisational skills (Have a desire to maintain and keep up excellent file management and clean working files),


  • You will be responsible for creating high-quality environment art,
  • Have a keen eye for level design and a strong ability to communicate ideas and collaborate with a design team,
  • You will take on ownership of levels/maps, making content and delegating to a small team of artists to ensure the content is cohesive and delivered on time,
  • Should be able to mentor and work well with others,
  • Proactively seek feedback from Lead Artists & Creative Directors,
  • Ensure that the artistic style of the game is consistently implemented,
  • Share your passion for art and help leads set the quality bar on the project.
