Senior Engine Programmer – UE4 – Contract /Freelance/ Remote Work – Netherlands

With a respected expertise in game adaptations, regarded as a leader in this field they are looking to expand their team as the company look to explore other exciting new development challenges and projects.

Are you a Senior Programmer with a broad set of skills and knowledge and to bring this to the team. You must be autonomous and take self-responsibility in your approach to work. Very much a hands on role and you will be tasked with working on multiple areas of a project at any one time.

Requirements:

• Proven professional experience in a similar role.
• Excellent programming skills in C++.
• Unreal Engine 4 experience
• Experience with console development.
• Be proactive, self-motivated and keep a positive team-oriented attitude.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cross-platform development.
• Strong English communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure, and handle multiple tasks.
• Demonstrate a desire to learn and grow professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Extend and maintain their in-house cross-platform engine
• Lead small teams in creating our finest adaptations
