Senior Design Analyst – AAA Games – Amsterdam

OPM are working closely with one of Europe’s lead games development companies, based out of their Amsterdam Studio they are currently looking for a Senior Design Analyst to join their team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• You will own the dataset of one of their leading titles and drive all its data endeavours.
• You will work together with the tech teams, and design which data we track and how they track it.
• You will work closely with game design for analysis of their released and in-development games.
• You will translate design questions into trackable data and pro-actively report on your findings.
• You will be involved in setting up playtests to generate new data according to best practices.

Required Skills & Experiences:

• A Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Several years of games industry experience performing quantitative analysis.
• Excellent SQL skills, including extensive experience querying large, complex data sets.
• A proven ability to deal and thrive with multiple data sources.
• A good understanding of how data can help improve game design.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using Tableau or similar types of data reporting software.
• Experience developing games in other areas, like game design, code or QA.
• Experience leading and managing teams.
