OPM are currently recruiting for one of the fastest growing games companies in Europe. This incredibly successful company develops some of the best free to play games across web and mobile platforms. Due to their continued success they are currently looking to hire a talented Data Warehouse Expert to join their already excellent team.


What’s the opportunity?

My client is looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Manager – Business Intelligence to support the ongoing development and maintenance of their data warehousing systems and data marts. You will:

  • Perform ETL (extract, transform, and load) to bring data from many disparate systems into the Data Warehouse.
  • Provide day-to-day support for data warehouse and reporting systems, including but not limited to system monitoring and problem resolutions.
  • Concept autonomously and implement data solutions for various projects in marketing and game studio.
  • Communicate proactively and seek opportunities to implement improvements in personnel and team processes.
  • Work closely with the data warehouse team to translate business requirements and logical data models into working databases, including relational and dimensional (star-schema) designs.
  • Work as a team with multidisciplinary colleagues from other departments.
  • Participate in training sessions and mentor the team.


What do I need?

You can start this role at a Regular or Senior level, depending on your experience. In order to be considered for this position, you will have:

  • Experience with relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
  • Hands-on experience with both relational and dimensional database modelling.
  • Exposure to one or more ETL tools (Pentaho, Talend, etc.).
  • Exposure to Big Data technologies (Hadoop or NoSQL).
  • A full University degree in Computer Science.
  • An ability to quick to grasp new ideas and technologies.
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English
