OPMs client, is a well-established games developer with over 22 years in the industry. They are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join their team in Reykjavik. The successful candidate will build sophisticated statistical models for segmentation analysis and other behavioural analysis of their in-game data.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Extensive experience in an analytical position, with expertise using data to drive process improvements.
• A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or Engineering Sciences.
• Interest and drive for discovering solutions to ensure the company is a data driven learning organisation.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with big data.
• Advanced understanding of building data visualisations for exploratory analysis and automated reporting.
• Able to communicate results to a non-technical audience.
• Able to write efficient Python or R code to answer data analysis questions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute in multi-disciplinary work encompassing anything from feature development to marketing campaigns.
• Explore large datasets, seeking behavioural trends.
• Architect and build predictive models.
• Develop and enhance their current segmentation models.
• Report findings to developers, designers and other corporate entities.
