Our client is seeking a smart, communicative, proactive Senior Data Scientist to steer the business towards emerging as a data powerhouse.

The successful candidate will design and lead projects that coordinate with in-house teams to extend the boundaries of analytics and ensures informed choices are made by the business.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSc in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Physics, Engineering, or other quantitative disciplines
• Proficiency in programming and query languages such as Python and SQL
• Practiced in statistics
• Exceptional skills using SQL with multiple data sources.
• Solid experience in SQL & Python
• Comprehensive experience building dashboards with Looker or Tableau
• Significant experience in an industrial quantitative field
• Experience with Data pipelines
• Strong team spirit

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transcribe business goals into measurable metrics
• Implement large scale data tracking initiatives to ensure accurate and complete data is collected into data warehouses such as Redshift/Snowflake for teams such as Product, Monetisation and User Acquisition to make informed data-centric decisions
• Design in-house KPIs and ensure their tracking, accuracy, and completeness
• Develop and build tools to enable teams across the company to view and interpret KPIs and relevant data
• Analyse gaming data using tools such as Python and SQL to identify actionable opportunities for the company based on business/team needs
• Work with product, marketing and management teams gain a competitive advantage
• Effectively communicate key data findings to stakeholders and wider organization using dashboards such as Looker
• Design initiatives to promote data literacy within the company
• Provide mentorship or guidance to junior members of the team

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience within the gaming industry
• An advanced degree in a relevant subject
