OPM are very pleased to be working with a AAA games developer & publisher based in Stockholm, Sweden. They are seeking a Senior Community Manager, who wants to be part of a team building a community from the ground up for an upcoming title developed and published by the studio.

The successful candidate will plan community initiatives in line with the marketing plan and development schedules, act as the bridge between players and the development team. Most of your focus entails having fun, showcasing their titles, and working together with a committed and creative team that will always have your back.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong community management and/or social media management experience within the games industry.
  • Good experience with mentoring team members.
  • Comfortable communicating with gamers online, with a good understanding of games culture.
  • Superb communication skills.
  • Basic Photoshop skills or/and video editing tools.
  • Self-starter mentality.
  • Solution-oriented problem solver.
  • Passionate about the games industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a rapidly growing and healthy community.
  • Engage the community via forums, live streams, social media channels, and other platforms.
  • Create and execute on community plans in close collaboration with marketing and developers.
  • Ensure community communication reflects what the game is, setting the correct expectations.
  • Collect, organise, and escalate community feedback to the stakeholders within the dev team to ensure community-driven game development.
  • Act as the voice of the game towards the community.
  • Engage in dialogue and answer questions.
  • Write up statements, patch notes, copies for the website, etc.
  • Produce and execute competitions, campaigns, and events.
  • Help and guide community moderators.
  • Identify and report on key metrics demonstrating community health and growth.
  • Be confident in front of a camera and live streams to fans.
