Senior Character Animator – Netherlands – Permanent – AAA Console Games

This studio regularly sets the quality benchmark in console gaming. To maintain this standard, they are looking for a highly experienced 3D Character Animator capable of creating the most believable human motions for Games / Film or both.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experienced as a Senior Character Animator in Games or Film (Realistic Human Motion)
• Demo Reel with examples of highly realistic human motion and creatures
• You possess excellent working knowledge of Maya (Motion Builder experience is a plus)
• You have experience working with animation networks to set up game features
• You’re able to create and iterate hand keyed animation quickly
• You are knowledgeable about game development processes

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• You will key frame by hand and/or work with Mocap to create real-time movement
• You will create humanoid and animalistic movement with a focus on quality and realism
• You will co-operate with game designers and programmers to fulfil tasks according to the production plan.
