Senior Animator – UK REMOTE – Action PC Video Game

Our client has had success with a string of games, from original IP to collaborations on licensed IP. They’re known internationally for their often surprising, but always entertaining projects!

The successful candidate will be responsible for character animations across the project. You’ll work with character artists to support the creation of character character rigs across the game and produce a range of animations to capture the combat, action and traversal of a cast of athletic characters in a third person context.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previously shipped a title with awareness of Unity’s pipelines.
  • Experience with action and combat animations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An interest in game design, particularly game feel.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Assist with rigging 3D humanoid characters and collaborating with 3D artists to produce great assets.
  • Produce a range of action, combat, and traversal animations, working with Unity’s humanoid animation system.
  • Defining animation standards and best practices for the project and working with other animators to maintain them throughout the project.
  • Collaborate with team members across all disciplines.
  • Be a proactive and positive contributor to the project, and support your team.

DESIRED:

  • Previous console development experience.
  • Experience with Blender.
  • Rigging skills and experience.
