OPM’s client is an established worldwide publisher and developer of interactive entertainment. Their portfolio includes Action Games, RPG, FPS and Simulators. Games are their passion and as their 3D Animator you will share in this enthusiasm and ethos to make amazing experiences for the player.
REQUIREMENTS:
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of Maya
- Previous experience on Motion Capture cleaning and Keyframe Animation.
- Familiarity with creature and bipedal Animation.
- Superb understanding of rigs and typical rigging set-ups and transferring data between tools
- Outstanding presentation/communication skills in dailies/reviews by clearly and briefly outlining what has been accomplished and what next should be addressed in the shot
- An exceptional aesthetic eye, anticipating potential problems
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver high quality animations which create thrilling, story-driven moments
- Collaborate with the Rigging and Pipeline departments providing suggestions and feedback to improve character setup, rigs, and tool functionality
- Communicate with part of the Outsourcing team. (English)
- Meet delivery deadlines under production constraints
- Collaborate with Supervisors and Pipeline department to develop tools and workflows associated with animation
DESIRED:
- A traditional animation and/or art background
- Strong knowledge of cinematic language and camera terminology
