This developer is always focusing on making original, never before seen experiences. Working with their Creative Director responsible for some of the world’s best loved multiplayer FPS experiences, you’ll be working on a FPS game built around an AI-driven emergent narrative system.

Everyone is a designer on the team, and you’ll be strongly encouraged to come up with and deliver fun and innovative features that contribute to the vision of the game. As a Senior Gameplay Animator you’ll work collaboratively with other disciplines to help define and implement the gameplay animations and animation systems for this exciting new project.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent hand-key animation skills, demonstrated in your demo reel.
• Games industry experience as an animator on released titles.
• Experience dealing with gameplay animations and in-depth knowledge of implementing and iterating gameplay animations.
• Have an excellent understanding of the animation pipeline from conceptual phase to deployment.
• You have experience working with animation systems as part of a team to support game features.
• Creating animatics and appropriate planning material. Collaborating with the development team to ensure all animation fits the projects requirements.
• Creative flair and ability communicate visual ideas to others quickly and effectively.
• Up-to-date awareness of next-generation animation pipelines and new processes for creating impressive high quality visual experiences.
• Experience with projects using Unity Engine.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create implement and iterate all gameplay animations for a wide range of assets such as humans and creatures & machines.
• Drive the quality of all gameplay animations.
• Work closely with the programming team to define the games animation pipeline and supporting systems.
• Provide direction and complete tasks by the assigned due dates.
• Create pre-vis animations to help define the look and feel of assets when required.

DESIRED:

• Experience with character setup – rigging and skinning.
• Experience with first person games ideal.
• Experience with multiplayer related animation systems and open world games.
