OPM are proud to be working with a multi-award winning F2P mobile games developer based in London. Recently they have joined forces with another world-renowned mobile developer to create the next hit titles!

They are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer who is passionate about technology and enjoys working in small agile teams. The successful candidate will assist with devising features for complex scalable problems.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Solid programming experience with Java/Scala
• Exceptional server engineering skills
• Professional experience and/or passionate about functional programming
• Professional experience in a client-server environment
• Professional experience in service-based architecture
• Professional experience with NoSQL systems
• Experience working in a team, developing, and supporting a product with a substantial user base
• Superb communication skills and attitude

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Professional experience developing for a successful F2P title
• Professional experience building and launching a mobile game on iOS and Android
• Experience designing and developing an AWS based architecture with more than 100 servers
• Reputable within the industry for excellence in creating or contributing to open source
• Working knowledge of Unity
