UK BASED REMOTE WORKING – UI Programmer – AAA PC/Console Games

Project: AAA Console & PC Games


OPMs client is a UK games developer with a rich portfolio of action adventure games. They keep high production values close to its heart and it shows in all their games. They are seeking an experienced UI Programmer to join their team in Cambridge.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Passionate about games, UI, and accessibility.
  • Good understanding of C++ and C#.
  • Good collaboration skill and able to work with a range of disciplines.
  • Capable of adapting to new challenges.
  • Professional UI programming experience in or a related programming role.
  • Degree(s), qualification(s) or equivalent knowledge, in an appropriate subject.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will work with UI Designer to assist in driving UI across the studio.
  • You will play a key role in the implementation of features across their projects as well as in the development of studio-wide UI tools and libraries, including assisting them to make major advances in the field of accessibility.

DESIRED SKILLS (good to have):

  • Professional experience with Unreal Engine 4
  • Understanding of WPF and MS Blend
  • Experience with mobile and/or web development
