OPM are excited to be working with a vibrant games service provider that can offer 100% Remote Working positions in their growing development team.

They are working with a growing list of AAA development clients and you will be working on some of the biggest game titles that are played regularly by millions of people.

Flexibility and a passion for development are key to this role where you will have a chance to work on many different areas of game code (Gameplay/Network/UI, AI) etc.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborating as part of a project team on a backend “games-as-a-service” (GaaS)
• Implementation of robust, scalable microservice centred architecture
• Understanding project requirements and implementing alterations and features as applicable
• Constructing tests, and creating/maintaining documentation as necessary
• Additional project duties as necessary

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Strong professional experience as a programming on backend services
• Professional experience with the implementation of RESTful interface
• Professional experience utilising languages such as: Java, C#, Node.js
• Professional experience with hosting using: Amazon AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure
• Keen eye for detail with a solid ability to analyse and comprehend direction
• Outstanding technical insight and able to stay on schedule
• Good communication skills, and able to articulate conceptual thoughts and can accept constructive critique
• Excellent problem solving, debugging and optimisation skills

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Professional experience with GaaS development is highly desirable
• Professional experience with Golang is highly desirable
• Strong professional experience with Database using SQL and No SQL is highly desirable
