OPM are excited to be working with a vibrant games service provider that can offer 100% Remote Working positions in their growing development team.

They are working with a growing list of AAA development clients and you will be working on some of the biggest game titles that are played regularly by millions of people.

Flexibility and a passion for development are key to this role where you will have a chance to work on many different areas of game code (Gameplay/Network/UI, AI) etc.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement advanced graphics/rendering functionality for AAA clients
  • Pinpoint and highlight potential risks in the solutions that are being worked on
  • Solve issues through the application of software engineering principles
  • Constantly work to reduce technical and maintenance issues
  • Promote quality in the studio and their client’s development process
  • Additional duties as assigned

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong professional experience in games as a Graphics/Rendering programmer
  • Professional experience with current-gen consoles and PC
  • Brilliant C++ programming skills
  • Excellent shader writing and debugging skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Unreal Engine 4, Unity, and other proprietary engines
  • Keen eye for detail with a solid ability to analyse and comprehend direction
  • Outstanding technical insight and able to stay on schedule
  • Good communication skills, and able to articulate conceptual thoughts and can accept constructive critique
  • Excellent problem solving, debugging and optimisation skills
  • Passionate about games

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Professional experience with DirectX 11/12, OpenGL, Vulkan is highly desirable
  • Professional experience with Mac and Linux is highly desirable
  • Professional experience with smart or mobile devices would be a plus
