Project: AAA Action RPG

Note: This can be an on-site and/or full remote position.

OPM’s client is a record-breaking indie studio based in Nice, France. They are currently seeking a LiveOps Programmer to join development for fresh content on their breakout game.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or comparable
• Strong professional experience as a LiveOps AWS Programmer
• Strong expertise with AWS architectures and services (ECS, DynamoDB, Redis)
• Understanding of either C++, Python, Javascript or Typescript
• Passionate about gaming and games development

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain a highly scalable and responsive AWS infrastructure
• Alongside gameplay programmers & designers, implement network features and technologies
• Identify complex game network issues, implement methods to avoid and handle them
• Maintain existing codebase and assist the development team to ensure code quality
• Produce technical documentation and accompany co-workers through feature integration
