This London based games development company, is looking for a QA Manager to oversee quality assurance for the entire product portfolio. The candidate will coordinate testing and execute test plans on pre-release and live mobile software.
They are looking for a QA Manager who has a passion for gaming. Your primary job will be to manage quality assurance across their game portfolio. Other responsibilities include:
- Managing internal and external QA Teams across multiple mobile projects in development.
- Working in development consoles for mobile products, such as iTunes Connect, Google Play, and Amazon Dev Console.
- Designing and developing comprehensive test strategy, test plan, and test cases.
- Providing QA sign-off on products prior to release.
- Conducting QA Status Update meetings
- Assisting with hands-on testing of games for general bugs, ease of use, consistency, quality, and compatibility.
- Managing multiple bug databases, reviewing and assigning bugs daily.
- Conducting vendor negotiations, scheduling test coverage with external teams as needed.
- Creating repeatable processes to improve efficiency and predictability
- Oversee customer relationship management to ensure that all testing required from product user feedback leads into bug testing
Required Skills:
You’re passionate about gaming and products. You’re a great people manager and you know how to influence people and reach objectives. Other skills include:
- Professional Games Industry QA experience with a comprehensive understanding of software development and testing.
- Strong understanding of mobile platforms, live updates, and emerging technologies.
- Respond effectively to multiple frequently changing priorities and requirements.
- Strong knowledge of production tools: JIRA, Trello and Excel
- Comfortable with identifying, assessing and solving problems quickly
- Excellent communicator in speech and writing
- A very good eye for detail.
- Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills.
Required Experience:
- Proven QA Lead or Management experience
- Experience with using Android Studio and xCode
- Experience of Unity development
- Experience of testing PC and Console titles.
