Project: Testing Studio

OPM’s client is start up games testing studio with big ambitions based in an exotic & exciting location. They are seeking a QA Lead (Studio Director) to join their team to manage the details of recruitment, training, finance, operations, and QA.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong QA experience within the games industry.
• Experience in hands-on testing but also with managing teams.
• Ability to set the basic recruitment requirements for local testers.
• Ability to devise and help plan training for local recruits.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Oversee testing on client games.
• Manage effective communication with EU and North American clients, ensuring client relationships are maintained.
• Take incoming Biz Dev enquires and turn them into profitable business for the studio.
• Start the studio doing effective video game testing on PC, mobile and console.
• Grow the business to increase revenue and profit.
• Push to increase the value of services provided to allow the business to charge more.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Previous experience with P&L and be comfortable setting and working to budgets.
• Managed a QA services studio.
