Project Manager – Console Game – North West, UK

OPM’s are pleased to be working with a highly successful studio in North West, who are looking for a Project Manager / Lead Producer. This role is key for overseeing and driving the development, release & growth of an unannounced title.

Ideally, you will have recent experience developing and running a title to launch and beyond with a live operations strategy, interpreting the Product Owner’s vision, alongside business intelligence to maximise growth and quality. As a minimum, you will have recent experience delivering a project and building upon it with post-launch content.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret designs and specs into tasks and content to deliver these against milestones and deliverables.
• Partnering effectively with the Product Owner and Management team to establish KPIs, define the Live Operations and overall roadmap strategies.
• Championing pipeline and workflow efficiencies.
• Guide the development of robust and sustainable systems, features and gameplay for live production.
• Ownership of the project Jira database, responsible for the tracking and maintenance of tasks/ tickets.
• Guide, develop and motivate the wider team, to champion delivering exceptional work in a positive, constructive and enjoyable environment.
• Building and tagging versions of the project.

Requirements:

• Recent experience developing and delivering a title to launch and beyond with post-launch content within a Production focused role is essential.
• Demonstrable ability to combine Studio and player requirements into a development roadmap that continues to improve the quality of the title and end user experience.
• A self-starter, who is highly organised and proactive, with excellent time management, planning and communication skills.
• Agile project management experience advantageous.
• Experience using project management scheduling tools.
• Flexible approach with the ability to adapt with change.
