OPM is currently working with a client who has had over 50 million fans worldwide and there’s just about 350 people to create super cool games for them all from 1 unique office in sunny Barcelona. Creating top ranking mobile games for both iOS and Android, their aim is to connect players through social gaming and provide an enjoyable and immersive player experience.

As a Product Marketer you will need to be analytical, a problem solver and be a very proactive team player. You will need to be smart and creative and unafraid to take risks with a good basis for your decisions. You will be in charge of one of their newest titles from launch and beyond and will therefore need to have experience with the strategy behind launching games and budget management.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating the marketing strategy – you will decide how much to invest, where to invest, who to target, what creative to use and what channels to use
  • You will leverage a budget that could range between 6-8 figures per year, depending on the game assigned, in order to provide profitable growth globally
  • You will be the main person responsible for planning the marketing roadmap of the game (including any and all marketing experiments that you can think of)
  • On a daily basis, you will be responsible for the results of a specific game marketing team, coordinating the efforts of a mobile user acquisition specialist, a couple of artists, an influencer, a community specialist and an analyst
  • You will need to manage all negotiations with your partners to achieve your targets.
  • You will manage and track all marketing campaigns for your games
  • You will communicate and get buy-in for your marketing strategy from the product teams.

You will need:

  • Solid Product Marketing experience within the Mobile Games Industry
  • Experienced in setting marketing strategy
  • Proven experience of data-driven decision making in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with User Acquisition KPI (LTV, CTR, CVR, CPI, ROAS, retention and others)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Passion for results, consistent track record of exceeding targets
  • An analytical mind
