OPM are proud to be working with independent mobile games developer, aiming to develop high quality sports titles based in Guildford. They are seeking a Product Manager who is enthusiastic and eager to be deeply involved in the development of a quality sports games.

The successful candidate will work with the development team to formulate a production plan, budget, and schedule for the upcoming games.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal fluency in English
  • Strong experience in the management of game and/or entertainment products and services
  • Strong experienced in agile development methodologies
  • Experience managing and owning multiple products
  • Deep knowledge of the mobile and games industry
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate intricate game development project issues
  • Experience working with teams across different functions and geographical locations
  • Ability to evaluate development risks and produce contingency plans
  • Self-motivated, with good organisational skills and close attention to detail

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Act as a key contact between the development staff and the production staff
  • Manage a team of developers working on games
  • Follow an iterative, prototyped, agile development process where usability and play tests ensure the intended game quality
  • Establish and maintain the roadmap of a portfolio of games
  • Develop and maintain schedules and budgets
  • Ensure deliverables are achieved efficiently
  • Schedule timely quality assurance and testing, test ports and supervise outsourced testing teams
  • Source external content (such as game audio and localization) and interface with third parties
  • Ad-hoc tasks as needed by management team to improve the performance of the mobile team

  • Management, technical or artistic background
