OPMs client is a leading global games company who pride themselves on their ability to entertain millions all around the globe.

They are looking for someone to join their amazing mobile game studio based in the centre of Helsinki. The studio is responsible for a game that has more than 100 million installs to date.

The successful candidate will have a role in growing a well-established franchise, alongside helping their multi-discipline team on their next big hit!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as: Business, Maths, Statistics, Industrial Management, Finance or Computer Science.
  • Professional experience with live free-to-play games is desired.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, being proactive and innovative with data-driven decision-making processes.
  • An outstanding English communicator, able to unify subject experts to take on complex challenges.
  • Ability to efficiently and systematically use data to support recommendations.
  • Passionate about games development and playing games.
  • Strong understanding of Excel (able to perform complex functions) and Powerpoint.
  • Experience with SQL and R or statistical tools are a strong bonus
  • Enjoy continuous learning and improving the studios understanding of how successful games work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver a well-informed justification for product decisions.
  • Pinpoint product opportunities and set quantifiable goals against them.
  • Build a strategy to accomplish product goals and work to execute the plan.
  • Cooperate with product partners to provide feedback on live product performance and on product roadmap, setting quantifiable targets for content releases.
  • Analyse and observe game performance daily.
  • Develop and test hypotheses to improve all game KPIs with A/B testing, in game promotions and sales.
  • Turn data into insights and make suggestions for the game team to enhance their games.
  • Work closely with Analytics team to define and implement telemetry/tracking events, reporting and data visualization tools.
