This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join an ambitious new studio to create original games exclusively for a new VR platform. Based in the North West of England, the studio aim to build a small but highly experienced team who want to build great games to showcase this exciting new immersive technology.

 

They are currently looking for a Producer with extensive experience developing games. You will initially project manage a pre-production team then, build, plan and manage the growth of the team throughout production.

 

You will join the team early in pre-production so will have ample opportunity to make your mark on the title.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

The candidate must be an excellent, mature and reliable project planner skilled in Agile software development. Maintaining a solid prioritized plan of work and communicating it with transparency to the team and management is vital. Outstanding written and spoken communication skills are important in a role that requires confident handling and leadership of what will ultimately become a full project team.

 

Reporting to the Studio Director, a snapshot of other responsibilities throughout the project would include:

  • Overseeing the Agile development process including Sprints and Scrums and milestones
  • Arranging and chairing regular Production Meetings
  • Maintaining a testing plan that ensures we always have a playable build
  • Managing Outsourcing partners including art asset houses, scriptwriting, performance capture and voice acting Assist the Studio Director forecasting budgets and tracking finance
  • Facilitate communication with all relevant stakeholder groups within World Wide Studios (WWS) and the Publishing groups, including (but not limited to): Technology Groups, User Research, IT. Marketing and PR, First Party and Format QA, Legal
