OPM are delighted to be working with this award winning studio in Canada. Over the past 17 years, they have shipped over 40 titles, sold over 27 million units and contributed to 19 other titles.  They are looking for an experienced Producer to provide organizational and creative leadership from initial design through to commercial release by managing projects to the highest possible quality.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Establish project vision, scope and core pillars.
  • Ensure each product’s commercial success.
  • Understand, refine, maintain and disseminate the product vision to the team.
  • Ensure the game achieves the highest possible quality and user experience.
  • Define and track projects to schedule and milestones.
  • Facilitate communication within the team.
  • Be a champion of creative problem solving within the team.
  • Coordinate development staff to maintain efficient delivery.
  • Liaise with clients and maintain good relationships.
  • Manage client expectations with regards to deliverables.
  • Ensure adequate, efficient and effective project staffing and resolve staffing conflicts across the studio.
  • Manage external developers and contractors to contractual requirements.
  • Work in collaboration with the QA department to ensure timely delivery and project success.

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent /related experience.
  • Experience in a production or development management role within the gaming industry.
  • Minimum of 2 shipped titles on a major console system (PS4, XB1, Switch).
  • Good understanding of multimedia and software tools.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as JIRA.
  • Excellent organizational and communication (both verbal & written) skills.
  • A proven ability to multi-task, make decisions and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
  • Self-motivated and avid game player, ideally a sport gamer.
  • Excel as a team player and strive to maximize team/department performance.
  • A dedicated work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • An understanding of the game development life cycle and design process – from concept to delivery.
