Our client is a successful Award-Winning Publishing Studio known for some of the best received Indie games that have been released in recent years. To support continued growth, they are looking to add to their Production team by hiring a Producer.

Reporting to the Head of Development you will be responsible for multiple projects, ensuring all requirements are met to support the goals of the release. You will continually move projects forward and ensure suitable resource planning is being undertaken by the team.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the planning and estimation process to produce fully scoped plans for upcoming projects
  • Managing the external development teams to ensure milestones are adhered to plus tech and decision pipelines remain unblocked
  • Scheduling management, ensuring changes and concerns are communicated and addressed
  • Creation and maintenance of product entries on platform holder systems
  • Communicating progress on current and upcoming milestones as well as overall progress and notable content
  • Providing clear detailed analysis on risks and areas for improvement along with suggestions
  • Constantly looking for ways to improve their process, team and projects
  • Line managing a Development Assistant to grow their production skills and facilitate the release of the projects on time and to quality

 

You will have:

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Experience with platform holder requirements; all Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft and Steam
  • Experience with console submission and certification processes
  • Extensive experience of managing client/stakeholder relationships
  • The ability to cultivate strong working relationships within a development environment
  • Expert knowledge of the game development cycle
  • Strong experience of the QA process
  • Experience defining and managing large project budgets
  • Experience in project management with a good understanding of planning scheduling, process, tracking and resource allocation
  • The ability to identify and assess risks and form a strategy to mitigate them
