If you’ve already proven your credentials through Certified PM techniques such as Scrum this is good to know, but it’s your contribution to the winning team that counts. Under the guidance of the Executive Producer handle production of at least one key titles in production.

Act as the main point of contact for project related issues, including weekly summaries, developer contact, milestone review, plans and vision.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with developers on a day-to-day basis to ensure the project is on track.
  • Ensure that plans are updated, and code is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Set up and maintain Risk and Issue registers for assigned projects.
  • Report whenever progress falls outside of agreed tolerances and propose plans in tandem with the developers on how to resolve.
  • Monitor costs associated with development of specific titles and ensure they remain within agreed budget tolerances.
  • Work with senior managers in the department, brand and other internal stakeholders to maximise game quality within time and cost constraints.
  • Manage the relationship between Codemasters and the developer and promote Codemasters interests with the developer.
  • Work with EP to review and sign-off all milestones from the developer and ensure all criteria has been met.
  • Plan for the timely delivery of Marketing Assets as dictated by the project plan.
  • Promote the game both externally and internally by giving demos and presentations as required.
  • Report to the Executive Producer on progress, budget, risks and issues.
  • Assist in the developer qualification process – working closely with acquisitions to identify opportunities.
  • Present progress of titles at major review meetings taking full accountability for product status.
  • Support Executive Producer and substitute for them when necessary.
  • Always Make a positive contribution to the team.
  • Work with other Producers to define unified development strategies.
  • Other such duties within the scope of the job title and at Line Managers discretion.
