Our client is a global brand and they are well known for delivery of quality Games and Hardware. Their internal Dev-Support team are looking for a Senior/Principal Engineer with strong maths and graphics programming experience, to join the team to support all game developers across the companies globally.
The Dev Support team provides support to the development community for all areas of the PlayStation platforms, covering areas including graphics, system features, network technologies (including PlayStation Network) and the submissions process. The team works closely with various teams across the worldwide studio family helping to define the direction taken now and in the future, as well as contributions to platform libraries.
Your goal will be to help game developers push the capabilities of the PS4 and PlayStation VR.
Alongside a team of engineers supporting developers on all PlayStation platforms, you will work directly with games companies. You will use your experience to provide advice on effective implementation of techniques and optimisations for our hardware, through a support website, as well as on-site visits, training and presentations at developer conferences.
You will be involved in the analysis and communication of technical information both internally and externally (to share knowledge and information with the PlayStation developer community).
In addition to the primary support tasks you will have opportunity to research and develop efficient techniques, components, tutorials, whitepapers and conference materials.
