OPM are currently working with a leading game provider who are looking for a strong sales person with demonstrable experience of success within a busy sales department. This could be either at a distributor/wholesaler or publisher (music, video games, books or electronics). Industry background is less important than genuine interest and passion for video games. Ideally you will need to be a proficient gamer with a good knowledge of games, particularly sports, action and adventure and FPS’s.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating with accounts including proposals of intake quantities of new releases, levels of trade/co-op marketing support, post release support, back catalogue promotions and activities
  • Collecting, compiling analysing all customer pre-order and sell through data
  • Managing stock and sales data (FC) daily including end of month audits
  • Conducting market research and analysis as required including online research and store visits
  • Distributing new release assets and information to customer database
  • Regular communication/meetings with customers
  • Providing support to Head of Branch as required

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven sales experience dealing with both indirect and direct customers
  • International experience would be beneficial
  • Solid track record of delivering profitable sales and share growth and customer business development – for both direct and indirect customers
  • 5+ years of account management (direct selling) experience
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinker with proven capabilities in data analysis and insights
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Persuasive communicator (oral and written) with Customer and Company top management.
  • Empowering individual contributor/ leader, collaborator and teammate.
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Successful candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel on the job.
