Project: Mobile Games

OPM are working with a well-established developer based in the city of Cologne. Formed over 10 years ago and currently working on multiple browser games. They are currently looking for an experienced Unity Developer with in-depth understanding of C#.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Demonstrable experience in the games industry.
• Expert skills with Unity3D and C#.
• Able to write well-structured, clean, and maintainable code.
• Strong skills with shader languages and able to write performant shader code that is compatible to the URP.
• Enjoys working independently on optimisation, but also likes teamwork.
• Self-motivated and organised.
• Fluent English communication skills, both verbally and written
• Portfolio showcasing, well-commented code examples (GitHub or Zip), executable prototypes and project descriptions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and drive the mobile version of the project for iOS and Android.
• Implement mobile-specific features in co-operation with your colleagues.
• Optimise the overall performance, memory footprint and rendering.
• Bring the designs of their UI/UX artists to life using Unity3D and C#.
• Set up and maintain a mobile build pipeline.
• Help the team in discovering solutions to issues during the production process of new features.
• Implement game & UI features.
• Increase the quality of the game and handle issues and bugs.
• Passionate gamer, with keen interest in strategy games.
