Our client is looking for an outstanding, high energy, enthusiastic and highly self-motivated experienced Level Designer to work on their current titles in their studio in Cornwall.

The successful candidate shall interact with the programming, design and art teams as well as with other Level Designers. You will make meaningful contributions to how their games look, feel and play.


  • Previously credited on at least one released title on PC or Console.
  • Ability to show great knowledge of level design, pacing and gameplay flow.
  • A strong eye for composition, lighting and set dressing.
  • Strong experience in Level Design, specifically on PC Games or Console.
  • Can provide playable levels as part of a Portfolio (Mod, Custom Maps, Released Game).


  • Skilfully create levels from the beginning to end: Whitebox/Block out through to final set dressing, lighting and bug fixing.
  • Produce Design Documents that inspire others about your plans for levels, areas, and gameplay features using images and text.
  • Be involved in the studio’s internal dialogues on different design issues.
  • Give critical feedback and suggestions to other Level Designers.


  • Experience using Unreal Engine 4.
  • Experience with multiplayer action games or 3D single player action-adventure games.
  • Understanding of 3ds Max, Maya or equivalent
