My client, one of the UK’s most creative and stable game developers, is currently looking for a Level Designer to join their team. Having been developing games since the early 2000s they have assembled a talented team of over 230 staff and are looking to grow even more with opening another UK based studio. They have developed a series of successful titles across all gaming platforms for partners with more recent titles being launched on the Xbox One and PS4. 2018 is guaranteed to be their most eventful year!

They are looking for a talented Level Designer to join their team and help with a brand new title!


  • Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to create exciting, innovative and engaging levels
  • Realise the high-level vision of your levels through all stages of development from initial block out through to final shipped product
  • Plan, execute and refine your levels from high-level concept to low-level scripting
  • Use player feedback and design direction to hone the gameplay experience


  • Level construction and scripting skills with Unreal Engine 4
  • Strong grasp of pacing, narrative, theme and mechanics in creating compelling levels across a range of genres
  • A desire to learn and constantly improve your level design skills
  • The ability to both give and receive feedback in a positive, constructive way
  • Clear, concise communication skills


  • Experience designing levels for at least one commercial title
  • Programming/non-visual scripting experience
  • Enthusiasm for first/third person shooters, and experience of the latest games in the genre
