Lead Rendering Programmer – Racing Games – C++ Proprietary Engine – Hybrid, Lyon
One Player Mission are working with a fast-growing development studio located in France. This is a great opportunity to contribute to internationally known franchises in the motorsport world.
They’re looking for a Lead Rendering Programmer to join their enthusiastic team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Scaling the rendering engine
- Develop new features for production needs
- Collaborate with different departments so that production pipelines are optimal
- Optimize rendering
- Identify problems in the engine and propose technical solutions and/or improvements (technology watch)
- Support internal users on the tools and encourage programmers to do so
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive experience in an engine programming position, ideally as a Rendered Programmer
- Excellent knowledge of C++
- Good knowledge of modern rendering APIs (D312 or Vulkan)
- Good knowledge of PBR issues
- You are curious and inventive to develop the maximum potential of consoles for our games
- You know how to prioritize and take initiatives and decisions
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of C#
- Knowledge of other game engines
- Good knowledge of the latest rendering techniques
- You have released at least one console game (PS4 / PS5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series / Switch)
