OPM are working with a leading name in the Gaming Industry based in Montreal Canada.

 

The studio in question is currently looking for a talented Lead Developer.

 

Ideally you will have experience with different technologies including C#

 

You will be joining a studio that is constantly looking to drive mobile technology and make high quality creative games.

 

The perfect candidate should be self-motivated, goal-orientated, and a strong team player.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Developing game libraries using C# and making them evolve over time to help game teams create the best experiences possible.
  • Developing native libraries using first party languages (Obj-C, Java, C++).
  • Developing web-based tools for both live and production support.
  • Providing quality support to game teams to help them use our libraries efficiently.
  • Architecting high quality systems to be highly usable, scalable, maintainable and performant.
  • Collaborating on purposed architectures by providing constructive feedback.
  • Providing accurate time estimates when implementing tasks.
  • Managing and mentoring team members.
  • Maintaining a positive attitudes when faced with adversity.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • Working knowledge of one of the major object-oriented programming languages; C#/C++/Java.
  • Strong understanding of common object-oriented patterns for maintainability, scalability and performance.
  • Passion and drive to create exceptional systems.
  • High level of energy, initiative, commitment, and generally work well autonomously.
  • You have developed on iOS and/or Android.
  • You have familiarity with first party services (leaderboard, IAP, achievements, profiles, and authentication).
  • You have previous work experience on web-tools and/or with database.
  • Familiar with Unity3D.
