Lead Programmer – Co Development Console/PC Games- Remote/Hybrid – Northwest, UK

One Player Mission are delighted to be working with a Co-Development studio, working with a variety of global AAA clients.

Based near Runcorn in Cheshire, they are incredibly passionate about what they do and pride themselves on their anti-crunch mentality.

They are seeking an experienced Lead Programmer to help direct their team of Engineers to reach their goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading: Directing your team to meet their goals
• Managing: Enabling engineers to reach their full potential
• Teamwork: Supporting your team and the wider company
• Collaboration: Working with international world class teams.
• Variety: Gameplay, core tech, porting, low level architecture and more
• Tech: Console and PC development

REQUIREMENTS:

• Deep knowledge and professional Programming experience in the Game Industry
• Proficient in coding multiple languages including C++ expertise
• A solid background in leading and managing engineers
• Can work autonomously, flexibly, proactively and positively
• Excellent understanding of Low level systems (e.g. physics, networking, memory, animation etc)
• Experienced with game engines, IDEs, source control, build infrastructure
• Continually expands knowledge base and skill set
• Efficient communication skills
