This award-winning UK developer has set its sights on crafting an entirely new AAA Open World RPG. To achieve this goal, they are hiring for an experienced Lead Animator. You’ll oversee the Animation team, working in conjunction with the Art Director and Art Manager to realise the high standards their players have come to love and expect.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Experience in the industry as a Lead Animator.

· A strong and diverse portfolio of different animation styles.

· Experienced in a variety of animation styles.

· Creative skillset that can adapt to technical requirements.

· Strong understanding of human anatomy.

· Practical knowledge of current 3D software Maya, 3DS Max and Motion Builder.

· Strong interest in self-development of managerial skills, overseeing the work of other team members and mentoring and developing junior staff.

· Ability to communicate with artists, technical team members and studio leadership.

· Experience of creating animation networks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Cover the full spectrum of animation, including facial, motion capture and keyframe.

· Expertise with the latest 3D software such as Maya, 3DsMax and Motionbuilder.

· Grow and develop the team.

· Help improve the animation and art pipelines.
