Lead 3D Artist – London – Multiple Platform Development

The company is continuing to grow and the fast-paced environment offers the opportunity to a creative individual who is looking to be Art lead on a brand new project. You will work closely with the production team and be given the opportunity to contribute and shape projects artistic direction.

As a member of a multidisciplinary development team, the Lead Artist will collaborate with the Studio Art Director to establish artistic goals for the project. You will be in charge of following the art team’s work, coach team members, and validate production outcomes while overseeing part of the development of the game.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive experience in a Lead Artist role in the videogames industry
• Responsible for the overall look of and quality the assets your team produces
• Strong portfolio which demonstrates excellent modelling and texturing skills a must
• Demonstration of other skills such as UI, Concept art, Animation, FX is also desirable
• Expert in Maya, Substance Painter/Designer and Zbrush
• Knowledge of the technical constraints relating to real time, the 3D engines, and level editors
• Be able to manage people, time and resources
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with team members of different departments
• Understanding of the technology used in game design and development, its capabilities and limitations
• Great organisational skills
