Founded in 2010, our client is one of Europe’s leading mobile games companies. Based in Manchester, this UK offer a fun working environment for it’s tight knit team. They focus on creating innovative, meaningful mobile games, that engage and delight players and their mission is to surprise players with games that exceed their expectations.

They are now looking for a Junior Programmer to be part of their dedicated and dynamic team developing high quality mini games for their hit mobile title. The game has had over 40 million downloads and has won multiple Game of the Year awards including a BAFTA.

Reporting to the Head of User Acquisition, you will work closely with client-side developers and the wider marketing team. You must be comfortable working in an agile environment. You’ll also be expected to estimate timescales for your tasks in advance and deliver milestones as part of the development process.

You will need to be a coder who is self-motivated and a strong team player. You take pride in your work and you understand how to deliver a quality product. You have a passion for games and you want to make games to be played by millions of people across the world. This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of the fastest-growing areas of mobile gaming.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrably strong talent for programming
  • Excellent HTML5/C/C++ coding skills.
  • Objective C, Java experience.
  • Commercial experience within the computer games industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience within a mobile gaming environment is a distinct advantage.
  • Passion for mobile games.
