OPM’s client, a Video Game publisher who has been established over 30 years, headquartered in France with offices across Europe, Hong Kong and the USA, are now looking for a Junior Community Manager to strengthen their communication with their players.

Your main role will be to assist the Community Managers and Marketing Team by managing social media channels of various games, executing communication strategies and reporting regularly on community sentiment and key metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day communications on various social media channels
  • Build, develop and sustain gaming communities
  • Write creative and relevant content that will engage players and help promote our game
  • Collect community feedback and share it with the team to improve our game developments and communication
  • Collaborate with the other Community Managers to create regular reports which measure the effectiveness of the team’s actions.
  • Track our competitors Community Management activity, emerging social media trends and anything relevant that might improve our communication.
  • Report to Community managers and Head of Marketing
  • Contribute to marketing and communication plans by proposing community communication ideas and strategies

Requirements:

  • Social media savvy, and general interest in latest trends in digital media and the games industry
  • Interest in video games and video games culture. Interest in sports a bonus (Rugby, Tennis, racing and motorsport)
  • Experience in photo and video editing highly preferred
  • Experience working with communities or in a customer facing role (especially within the games industry) preferable
  • Solid project management, planning and communication skills (verbal and written) are required. This includes being able to prioritize and organize a varied and full workload, and work under pressure.
  • Excellent English language skills (both written and spoken), knowledge of French is a plus
  • Able to travel to attend fairs and other events internationally when required

The successful candidates will receive a competitive salary dependant on their skills and experience.
