OPM are very pleased to be working with a AAA games developer & publisher based in Stockholm, Sweden. As Head of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role for the future player engagement over the entire product lifecycle on their next project focusing on realistic and immersive outdoor gaming experiences.

The successful candidate will drive user acquisition and retention, whilst shaping the brand awareness and identity of their products and subsequent monetisation. You will lead and shape a world-class marketing and communications team and identify their plan and execute on opportunities that will impact new, existing and potential players, as well as build strong processes to tangibly measure success.

You will also work closely with their Live and Development teams to plan and execute international marketing campaigns that create awareness and engagement around the products as well as with their communities.


  • Extensive experience with consumer marketing, digital marketing or equivalent
  • Extensive management experience, with ability to grow and empower through direct reports
  • Solid experience working in an international setting
  • Expert understanding of the digital marketing sector including acquisition channels, content marketing, social media, influencers and online media
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics, setting KPIs and delivering ROI
  • Fluent English skills, both written and verbal


  • Strategically accountable for marketing, communications, community management and customer support of all products within the division.
  • Accountable for all divisional marketing strategies, global & local, and activities pre- and post-launch, working in unison with Product Owners
  • Responsible for the overall brand position, and assist in constantly evaluating new exciting market opportunities
  • Manage third parties, as per set marketing strategies
  • Accountable for defined KPIs within the field of marketing, acquisition, retention, reactivation and ROI.
  • Stakeholder and subject matter expert in development phase to optimise release and live activities
  • Lead and execute high performing digital media initiatives from onset to finish
  • Oversee and study their game performance on the market and find opportunities to improve activities
  • Be the focal point of cross-functional collaboration between Product Owner and marketing and communications team
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; business and media partners, community influencers and marketing agencies
  • Partner with Product Owners and Managing Directors to prioritize marketing spend in specific regions and ensure the optimal allocation of resources
