Growth Lead – Mobile Games – London

Our client is a technology company with the mission to build the best mobile games for each

individual user with help of latest design trends and technology available for personalized

experiences. Experimentation, creativity and data are at the core of what they do.

 

They are a well-funded seed stage company founded by mobile industry veterans that have

worked together for the past 6 years and exited their previous company. The company is

based in London and has team members in Berlin and Istanbul.

 

They are looking for an outstanding first team member of their Growth team to lead User

Acquisition across all of their titles. As the company grows, they want their Head of Growth to

take on a leadership position and build out this department into all aspects of mobile game

growth – however, the role is an individual contributor role at the beginning.

 

This is a new role in their early stage startup and you will work directly with the CEO, have

the freedom to define, develop and implement marketing strategy for the games

created. You will initiate and develop marketing campaigns, product launches and relevant

materials to support the promotion of the games.

 

They are looking for an analytical person who loves diving deep into numbers, finding

patterns and exploiting them with the help of engineers. Your expertise in mobile user

growth will be a key input source to our platform development efforts, as well as highly

iterative game development process – through which you will have to chance to learn the

ins and outs of complex software development.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute performance-based user acquisition across various marketing channels
  • Participate in the company strategy for growing our games and UA budget allocation
  • Develop our internal reporting tools
  • Define key KPIs for managing success, regularly monitor, optimize and report on campaign performance
  • Identify new partners, platforms and optimization opportunities to drive campaign performance
  • Build strong relationships with ad-tech partners
  • Stay up to date on latest user acquisition trends and emerging platforms
  • Collaborate with game and platform teams through tests, help them implement features that improve acquisition and monetization

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience managing user acquisition campaigns for mobile games, with a strong track record of measurable results
  • Hands-on experience buying media on Facebook, Google and other relevant mobile platforms
  • Hands-on experience with MMP’s, anti-fraud tools and other relevant solutions to manage and track our growth efforts
  • Strong analytical background, education in engineering or finance preferred
  • Strength in data analysis, results-oriented and metric driven
  • Curious about new technologies as well as about industry trends and global consumer behavior
