OPM are thrilled to be working with a well-known Games Developer seeking experienced Graphics Programmers to join their team.

The role centres very much around being part of a team working on some of the most creatively rewarding, large-scale projects to be found in any entertainment medium.

You would be welcomed to a friendly, inclusive environment where you can learn, and collaborate with some of the most talented people in the industry.

The successful candidate will develop pioneering graphics and visual effect systems, collaborating with other departments to produce optimal, attractive solutions for their games.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Good experience with C/C++ programming (VC14 preferable).
  • Good experience with HLSL, Cg or other vendor specific shader programming languages.
  • Good experience with 3D graphics APIs (Direct3D 11+, OpenGL, Vulkan and/or vendor specific).
  • Capacity to work with artists, designers, and other content creators enabling them to get the most out of the technology.
  • Degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create new and enhance existing graphics technologies to assist in achieving state-of-the-art visuals.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the programming team to assist in integrating graphics technologies, identify extensions to that technology, and help make those improvements.
  • Mentoring of more junior members of the team.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Previously shipped a title on consoles.
  • Good experience with multithreaded programming.
  • Good experience with optimising both performance factors and memory footprints using hardware and software profilers such as PIX, GCM Replay, Tuner, Vtune, etc.
  • Good experience with graphics pipelines using relevant platform tooling such as Renderdoc, Pix, Razer, etc.
  • Good experience with using modern real time ray tracing APIs such as DXR, NVX or vendor specific.
  • Good experience with large multi-platform code bases.
  • Passionate about games and games development.
