ABOUT:

As a highly creative and experienced Video/Promo Artist you will be involved in the creation of very high-quality trailers and promotional video assets using a combination of captured gameplay footage, composited 3D and special effects and other film production components and techniques.

Your promotional videos will form a central component of the global marketing campaign for a very high profile, triple-A game franchise, so an understanding of branding is essential as is an interest in all forms of creative communication. A love of video games is also a plus!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Highly creative and imaginative, with proven experience in executing original concepts, demonstrated in your demo reel
• Excellent eye for image composition in both still and moving contexts
• Experience with video editing package, including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
• Strong experience creating and formatting effective video for the web
• Full understanding of browser and platform limitations and their influence on online design
• Understanding of formatting best practices for social media
• A good understanding of the games industry and its competitive landscape
• Experience defining, designing, implementing, and supporting the production of world-class creative assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce and edit distinctive, creative, video content to the highest standards
• Concepting, composing and capturing content directly using game development tools
• Capturing and editing gameplay video for multiple uses, including online PR, social media, broadcast TV, cinema advertising and live events
• Composing, lighting, and capturing still images and screenshots for promotion to a specific creative brief
• Creating, formatting and versioning content for a variety of uses and social media platforms
• Develop new creative executions to ensure their content is fresh and relevant
• Deliver on creative briefs from all areas of the studio, including game project work, corporate communications, and internal communications
• Work with an internal team of promo artists to deliver outstanding quality assets in a high-pressure campaign with multiple stakeholders
