Games Analyst – LiveOps – REMOTE or London, UK – Mobile Games

One Player Mission have joined forces with an emerging name in the Games Industry developing for the Casual market based in London.

The studio is looking for a Games Analyst. As the Games Analyst in LiveOps, you will be part of an agile team responsible for the organisation’s LiveOps BI and data reporting for the game and LiveOps events and activities. 

Using statistical tools, you will interpret large data sets and communicate patterns, trends, and findings to technical and non-technical audiences. You will set up and validate AB test results and collaborate with LiveOps, Game Engineers and key stakeholders to deliver high-impact insights.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Game Data Analyst or a similar analytical role in the gaming industry, with a deep understanding of game mechanics, player behaviour, and game monetisation models.
• Expertise in data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning techniques. Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages commonly used for data analysis.
• Superb communication can convey your point to game designers, producers, programmers, and executives.
• You can apply data-backed analyses to produce insights that help improve game design, features, live events, and other activities.
• Work with all game departments to ensure you understand the game, economy, and business goals.
• Preparing detailed weekly and monthly reports on player behavioural activity.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the organisation’s LiveOps BI and data reporting for the game and LiveOps events and activities.
• Wade through gigabytes of data to find compelling and practical business insights.
• Apply vision and confidence to design and direct qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Using statistical tools, you will interpret large data sets and communicate patterns, trends, and findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• You will set up and validate AB test results and collaborate with LiveOps, Game Engineers and key stakeholders to deliver high-impact insights.

GOOD TO HAVE:

• Experience with skill-based games.
• Experience supporting a live game service with a global player community.
• Experience with Jupyter notebooks.
• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and Slack.
