Project: AAA Fantasy RPG

This award-winning UK developer is seeking a Gameplay Animator to join work on a AAA Fantasy RPG title. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a good understanding of the game development process.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A strong portfolio or demo-reel demonstrating solid understanding of body mechanics and animation fundamentals.
• Professional experience and knowledge of implementation for core gameplay systems and mechanics.
• Expertise in both key-frame and motion capture workflows
• Experienced using Maya and MotionBuilder

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will cover a wide range of key areas, including facial, motion capture, keyframe and the breakdown and design of animation focused mechanics.
• You will be a creative animator and a problem solver, utilising good knowledge of the technical aspects of animation.
• You will also collaborate with the team on enhancing the animation and art pipelines.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Professional experience in a similar role in the games industry
• Professional experience with performance capture pipelines
• Great knowledge of cinematography and scene staging
• Experience with interactive storytelling
• Previous AAA experience
• Passionate about gaming and games development
