Our client creates some of the very best racing games on the planet. They have established a leading franchise and they’re looking to push it even further in several exciting new projects. They pride themselves on the quality of their design and are looking for a Junior Game Designer to join the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly under the Game Director
  • Support design by integrating Game Balancing into the game through in-house tools
  • Test the game to ensure the balancing has been integrated correctly and work With QA when necessary
  • Tweak the core gameplay and meta-game systems to ensure they reinforce the Fun Factor of the game

Requirements:

  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes. Quickly explore and familiarize yourself with new in-house software to manipulate game parameters and values
  • Strong testing aptitude, instincts, and ability to evaluate quality across a broad spectrum of features
  • Basic Spreadsheet skills. Understand provided Design Balancing sheets and be able to edit them with the support of the Lead
  • Passion for the gaming industry
  • Experience with game development
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Desire to improve self and team beyond present

The successful candidates will receive a competitive salary dependant on their skills and experience.
