OPM’s award winning client has been on the games development scene under their current guise for 25 years, with a legacy that stretches back further still. They now require a Game Designer to explore novel game-interactions that could be enabled by state-of-the-art AI approaches.

The three novel game experiences will meaningfully engage players and make use of the unique opportunities provided by state-of-the-art machine learning such as imitation learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Explore novel game-interactions that could be enabled by state-of-the-art AI approaches
  • Game prototyping/development
  • Visualize and describe game concepts and mechanics
  • Effectively liaise with the development team including creative and technical leads

Requirements:

  • Educated to Masters level, or comparable experience in industry
  • Extensive game design experience
  • Ability to visualize and describe game concepts and mechanics
  • Strong personal portfolio demonstrating creative work
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with a diverse team
  • Game prototyping/development (e.g., unity or other game engines) or similar software skills are a plus
  • Ability to test out and work with constraints of state of the art technology that may not (yet) be fully functional
