OPM is proud to be working with a well establish developer, with a history of over 20 years based in the suburbs of Paris, aiming to make some of the best sports simulation in the games industry.

They are currently looking for experienced Engine Programmers with a passion for sport and ideally a deep knowledge of Unreal Engine.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilising your knowledge of Unreal Engine, you will support the start a project from scratch and help make the correct decisions early in development.
  • You will assist in deciding how to port an existing game from the in-house engine to Unreal Engine, while maintaining all existing gameplay & AI elements.
  • You will work on the in-house engine on numerous tasks to improve it.
  • You will optimise the engine to get the best results in areas including:
    • Rendering, stadiums, skins, hairs etc.
    • Cloth physics.
    • Global performances.
    • VFX.
  • You will develop specific modules including:
    • Large public rendering
    • Grass.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional experience on at least one AA(A) console game using Unreal Engine & C++.
  • Very good knowledge of Rendering techniques, Shaders & C++.
  • Strong mathematics and 3D skills.
