Project: AAA Games

OPM’s client is seeking an Environment Artist to join their passionate and talented team.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Level Designers and create environments. They will also assist in planning out space with consideration for the narrative and visual story telling of the game.


  • 3D software such as 3D Studio Max, Maya and Blender
  • Knowledge of 3D sculpting packages such as Zbrush or Mudbox
  • Understanding of modelling processes hi-res sculpting, baking textures and material/shader setup in realtime render engine
  • Skills in PBR material pipeline/substance
  • Understanding of Photoshop or other 2D packages
  • Ability to develop resolutions to problems
  • Ability to effectively communicate information, whilst building long-term, trusting relationships with a wide range of people


  • Help in planning out the space, with consideration of narrative and visual storytelling, while documenting intentions
  • Design environments in tight collaborations with Level Designers
  • Design functional assets which can be shared across the project
  • Employ best practices, production pipelines and workflows into work
  • Assist the Lead Artist in any ad hoc tasks and duties
