OPM is excited to be working with this leading AAA games developer based in the Netherlands. With over a decade’s experience in the games industry, they have grown into a multicultural team of over 200 people that have strived to achieve technical and artistic excellence in their games.


Our client aims to push our games to the highest possible quality, and deliver visually stunning environments is an important part of that ambition. They’re looking for an Environment Artist with a great portfolio and extensive experience in modelling modular assets to construct in-game environments that meet our high quality standards.



Key Accountabilities /Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for composing different in-game locations using modular assets and work with other departments to meet the story, quest, and design requirements for each location.
  • Dress up scenes with props to create rich storytelling within our game world.
  • Use their editor to shape and dress up terrain with rocks, vegetation and roads to create a natural lived-in landscape in and around each location.
  • Prepare modular architectural sets for their outsource pipeline and game production.
  • Optimize the game’s content to run within memory and fit with the performance requirements.
  • Resolve a variety of bugs to improve playability and the overall quality of the game.


Development knowledge

  • Have a great artistic eye and understand form, composition, colour, light and detail.
  • An impressive portfolio with at least one photorealistic environment.
  • Versatile game modelling skills, your models are dynamic and clean, and you can deliver them consistently in a timely manner.
  • Extensive experience in modelling modular assets used in the construction of in-game environments.
  • Experience with Maya or similar 3D packages.
  • Can work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, deadline-driven environment.
  • Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, technically-minded, and you also love making games


  • Experience with other engines and toolsets such as Unity, Unreal, etc.
  • Have completed a full development cycle for a game project
